The non-profit project, initiated by a large group of sports journalists, aims to transform words into action and sport into solidarity. The book “Relats solidaris de l’esport” was created with the intention of raising funds for organizations and social projects that have a significant impact in the Catalan region.
In 2025, the project is supported by Aitana Bonmatí (FC Barcelona), the best player in the world, European champion, World Cup champion, and one of the most influential athletes today, who is the ambassador of the initiative.
And this year, we are fortunate that all the proceeds from the sale of the book and other solidarity events organized throughout the year will go to Ramassà and our project “Inclusive women’s football for asylum seekers, refugees, and newly arrived women in Barcelona: training and socio-labor integration”!

At the launch event on April 22, 2025, at the former Estrella Damm Factory in Barcelona, where this collaboration was announced in front of a large audience, we also took the opportunity to present the new campaign “Football is Refuge”, created by Biombö Studio.
This campaign will accompany us from now on to help raise awareness and highlight the power of sport—specifically football—in promoting social inclusion and welcoming refugee women into host societies.
